Raccoon Padded Foot Trap Bait First: Place solid bait in back of trap, behind or below the big hole on top of trap. You can pierce bait with the key dog. Bait Suggestions: Use either chicken bones, macrow or sardines and one marshmallow. Pack the meat or chicken bones in the bottom of the trap. Then place the marshmallow so that the trigger goes down into the marshmallow when set.
Setting Instructions: Place the trap in your left hand with the open end of trap tubing toward you. Use your left palm to start to compress spring. As you begin to compress the spring, use right hand to steer key-dog into big hole on top of tube. Use right thumb to push down until notch on key-dog grabs pipe tube. |
